Happy New Year

What did the First Aid Canada Team get up to in 2015?

Happy New Year! 2015 has been an amazing year for the First Aid Canada Team and we thought now would be an excellent time to share some of our favourite moments:

Our first trade show of the year was the Restaurants Canada Show at the Direct Energy Center in Toronto, Ontario. This was the team’s second year attending the show and it was a great success! There was excellent crowd in attendance and even better eats to be enjoyed.

We had “Choking Charlie,” at our side helping us give demonstrations to attendees on how to properly help someone recover from a choking incident. Choking is a common accident occurring in the restaurant industry so it was extremely beneficial for service industry professionals to brush up on first aid practices and learn new skills.

 Products at The Survival Expo

At the beginning of August the First Aid Canada Team had the pleasure of attending the inaugural tradeshow: The Survival Expo in Niagara Falls. This event was filled with multiple vendors introducing products and adventures. At this event our role as the only First Aid providers was to educate attendees on the importance of being prepared outdoors. We offered products such as our Emergency Survival Kits, Vehicle Distress Kits and Automated External Defibrillators. For more on outdoor safety check out our blog: Outdoor Survival Guide.

TSAR

On August 22nd, the First Aid Canada team took part in the Toronto Search and Rescue T-SAR 2 Christening Ceremony. The T-SAR 2 Christening Ceremony celebrated the final completion of the vessel and the Toronto Search and Rescue Volunteer Team as a whole. It was a four year process to allocate volunteers, acquire all of the necessary supplies, equipment and organize the launch party (which was a huge success)! As a company, First Aid Canada sponsored a table and contributed oxygen kits and equipment.

We can’t wait for all of the exciting moments 2016 has to bring! If you feel there is an opportunity for to align with the First Aid Canada team feel free to reach out to us: 1-855-322-4243.
