We offer first aid & CPR certification courses at a time and place that is most convenient for you. We can come to your workplace, school/daycare or home to deliver first aid training.
Courses offered in southern Ontario area only.
Everyone can benefit from first aid training. Whether it is a requirement for your job, personal interest, or caring for your loved ones, participating in a first aid course will give you confidence and peace of mind when faced with an emergency. Courses are designed specifically to meet your needs.
As an affiliate member of The Lifesaving Society, our courses are recognized by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB).
Giving Back Program
Take a course with First Aid Canada and assist with saving lives through our Giving Back program. Covers all aspects of CPR skills and theory for adult, child and infant victims, including rescue breathing and the use of an AED and bag-valve-mask (BVM). This HCP level is designed specifically for those who, as part of their job descriptions as Health Care Providers, have a duty to respond to medical emergencies (e.g. doctors, nurses, paramedics and allied health care professionals).
For people who want a general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries. Skills incorporate CPR-C material as well as victim assessment, respiratory emergencies, such as choking, asthma and hyperventilation, and wound care, such as bleeding and burns.
Comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. Skills incorporate Emergency First Aid material as well as head & spinal injuries, bone/joint/muscle injuries, environmental emergencies, poisoning and sudden medical emergencies such as seizures, diabetes & anaphylaxis.
Approx. 16 Hours (over 2 days) Certification Valid for 3 Years
Gather your friends and/or colleagues together at a location of your choice to learn how to respond to first aid emergencies. Choose from a variety of topics that interest your group such as CPR, choking, anaphylaxis emergencies, wound care, etc. Emphasis will be place on life-like scenarios to ensure you are prepared to respond to an emergency. Host will receive a complimentary first aid kit.
