See summary below:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>1 worker or a worker in isolation requires a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstaidcanada.com\/fr\/product\/csa-type-1-personal-kit\/\">CSA Type 1 Personal First Aid Kit<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>For <b>Low Risk<\/b> Workplace Environments:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>2-25 workers per shift requires a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstaidcanada.com\/fr\/product\/csa-type-2-basic-kit-small-2-25-workers\/\">CSA Type 2 Basic First Aid Kit - Small (2-25 Workers).<\/a><\/li>\r\n\t<li>26-50 workers per shift requires a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstaidcanada.com\/fr\/product\/csa-type-2-basic-kit-medium-26-50-workers\/\">CSA Type 2 Basic First Aid Kit - Medium (26-50 Workers)<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>51-100* workers per shift requires a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstaidcanada.com\/fr\/product\/csa-type-2-basic-kit-large-51-100-workers\/\">CSA Type 2 Basic First Aid Kit - Large (51-100 Workers)<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>For<b> High Risk<\/b> Workplace Environments:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>2-25 workers per shift requires a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstaidcanada.com\/fr\/product\/csa-type-3-intermediate-kit-small-2-25-workers\/\">CSA Type 3 <span class=\"productnamecolorLARGE colors_productname\">Intermediate<\/span> First Aid Kit - Small (2-25 Workers).<\/a><\/li>\r\n\t<li>26-50 workers per shift requires a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstaidcanada.com\/fr\/product\/csa-type-3-intermediate-kit-medium-26-50-workers\/\">CSA Type 3 <span class=\"productnamecolorLARGE colors_productname\">Intermediate<\/span> First Aid Kit - Medium (26-50 Workers)<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>51-100* workers per shift requires a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstaidcanada.com\/fr\/product\/csa-type-3-intermediate-kit-large-51-100-workers\/\">CSA Type 3 <span class=\"productnamecolorLARGE colors_productname\">Intermediate<\/span> First Aid Kit - Large (51-100 Workers)<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>*If there are more than 100\u00a0workers per shift, the employer must increase the number of kits and distribute them proportionately in the workplace.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>The employer is responsible for assessing the risk level in their workplace<\/strong>. Most workplaces are low or moderate risk and require the basic kit. The training that is part of the\u00a0<a title=\"First aid in the workplace Program\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnesst.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/prevention-and-safety\/first-aid-workplace\/first-aid-workplace-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-entity-substitution=\"canonical\" data-entity-type=\"node\" data-entity-uuid=\"00d2653e-258d-4383-9a99-993d07d449cd\">First aid in the workplace Program<\/a>\u00a0refers to the basic kit. The intermediate kit should be used in high-risk workplaces.<\/p>\r\n<p>Assessing the risk level is an assessment of the types of injuries or illnesses that may occur in the workplace, the probability that they will occur and their potential severity.
